It was so amazing to be back on the island! My painting trip was eveything I had hoped it to be. A typical day for me was up at 5:30am and out the door by 6am. This year I spent a good amount of my time focusing on Lobster Cove. Lobster Cove is located at the southern tip of the island. It is an excellent place for bird watching and enjoying the spectacular surf. This trip I created about 90 sketches. I woud say, about 20 of them became finished paintings.
